The Idea Behind This Project
The initial inspiration for this presentation was to stand apart from conventional merchandise. After thoughtfully exploring the form and feel I envisioned for future collections, I was drawn to bold black and white imagery inspired by iconic 1950s fashion photography. Known for its powerful composition, dramatic contrasts, and understated yet confident sensuality, this visual language perfectly captures the essence and character of the garments.
My recent designs embrace a contemporary, modern style, carefully infused with refined elegance. This slightly provocative yet graceful approach creates a striking contrast to today’s more common visuals. While some may consider this sensibility a touch traditional, my aim has always been clear: to highlight the exceptional quality of these garments at first glance.
